Hi, my name is Eba! I'm 24 years old and a fourth-year Mechanical Engineering student with a minor in Aerospace Engineering. I've always had a passion for problem-solving and STEM, but what I enjoy most about tutoring is being able to take something that seems complicated or overwhelming and break it down in a way that finally makes sense.
Having gone through the junior high and high school experience right here in Alberta, I understand firsthand what students are going through and what they need to succeed. I know how challenging it can be to balance a heavy course load, extracurriculars, sports, gaming, friends, distractions, and everything else that comes with being a student.
With over three years of tutoring experience with Tutor Doctor, I've had the opportunity to help students strengthen their understanding of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics while achieving better results in school. That experience has also taught me that every student learns differently. My goal is to be patient, supportive, and adapt the way I teach to each student; helping them build confidence, develop better study habits, and eventually become more independent learners.

Choose whichever works best for you. I offer both in-person and online tutoring, with each option designed to provide the same organized, personalized learning experience.
In-Person Tutoring
- I use an iPad containing all my course notes, practice questions, and additional resources
- Everything is organized digitally, eliminating unnecessary paper and clutter
- Previous notes and extra resources are always available when we need to revisit a topic
Online Tutoring

Sessions are held through Zoom using both my MacBook for video and audio and iPad for screen sharing.

Students can see my face and my iPad screen at the same time, keeping sessions personal and interactive.

I work through concepts, examples, and problems directly on the iPad, just as I would during an in-person session.

Students can simply take a picture of a difficult homework question and email it to me. Within seconds, I can pull it up on my iPad and work through it together with them.
- The result is a smooth, interactive online experience that provides the same quality of tutoring as an in-person sessio from wherever you are.
Tutoring Packages
Single
1 Hour per week
Online: $40/wk
In-Person: $60/wk
Great for students who need occasional guidance, homework help, or support with specific concepts.
Standard
2 Hours per week
Online: $75/wk
In-Person: $115/wk
Time to understand concepts in depth, then reinforce them through homework, practice problems, and challenging questions.
Success
3 Hours per week
Online: $105/wk
In-Person: $165/wk
More time to understand, practice, and achieve better results. Allows for deeper concept breakdowns and worked examples, plus plenty of time for challenging homework, extra practice, and assessment preparation.
Intensive
4 Hours per week
In-Person: $210/wk
Online: $130/wk
Comprehensive support for students aiming for their best results in diploma exams and higher-level STEM courses. Dedicated time for in-depth concept learning and worked examples, followed by extensive homework support, challenging practice, test preparation, and better study strategies.
Please Note: Pricing is the same for all subjects. The only variation is whether sessions are in-person or online. With each additional hour booked, there is a $5 discount on the hourly rate.
Family Discount
Have more than one child who needs tutoring?
For each additional child you enrol, receive $10 off their weekly package; whether they are enrolled for 1, 2, 3, or 4 hours per week.
Example:
Two children enrolled in the 2-hour online package:
- First child: $75/week
- Second child: $65/week
- Family total: $140/week
The discount applies across all weekly packages and all courses offered.
